According to the strict rule of this festival of Karva Chauth queen Veervati was following it. And due to not drinking water and not eating food the queen had started to become restless and this condition of sister cannot be seen by their brother and due to this reason they had requested to the queen to break the fast of the Karva Chauth But, the queen had denied to them and due to this reason, in order to provide rest to sister. The brothers had arranged to make the fake moon’s shadow on a tree and then one brother showed it to the queen. So the queen had trusted their brother and started to take the meal but, as she started to have her meal the news of her husband’s death came around. So, the queen prayed to the goddess, and the hen goddess told her the truth. And after that she had again started to celebrate this festival and then her husband gets back to life.
